Founded in 1997 in Israel by Gil Adani and Dan Vigdor, ThriveDX (formerly HackerU) is a cybersecurity solutions and education provider. It aims to provide digital workforce training to students and professionals worldwide, including the US, Europe, and Asia through partnerships with universities. Part of its global initiative includes a partnership with the Southern New Hampshire University to create cybersecurity bootcamps and remotely train refugees in Southeastern Africa.
In August 2021, ThriveDX acquired Cybint, a SaaS-based digital learning company. Founded in 2014 by Roy Zur, Cybint is an international cyber education company with a focus on upskilling and reskilling professionals in cybersecurity. Cybint aims to solve what it claims to be the two biggest challenges in the industry, a relatively small-scale workforce and the skills gap, by providing military-level training through experts in the industry. This acquisition will allow ThriveDX to extend its global reach and will support ThriveDX by accelerating the development of SaaS training solutions and signing more partnerships with a focus on global cybersecurity education. Its most recent acquisition was in March 2022, when it acquired Kontra, a security training platform, allowing ThriveDX to strengthen its product portfolio by integrating with Kontra’s solution.
Key customers and partnerships
In October 2022, the company partnered with Exclusive Networks, a cybersecurity specialist and founding partner of the ThriveDX Cyber Talent Hub, to provide training and development opportunities to its network of partners. A month later, the company partnered with Enterprise Solutions, a staffing and recruitment agency, to train students in technology from "the classroom to the boardroom" to fill lucrative and in-demand cyber security jobs in the global workforce and to increase diversity and inclusion in the industry.
