N-Drip is an Israel-based company that provides a gravity-powered micro-irrigation system that enables farmers to monitor their fields and receive real-time recommendations for irrigation and fertilizer usage. As of June 2023, N-Drip operated in 17 countries and had three main business hubs in Australia, India, and the southwestern US.
The N-Drip System uses the existing infrastructure in the field and operates on gravity power. It includes an IP-protected dripper designed to function effectively with pressures below 0.06 bar (0.87 psi) and is fully recyclable. The system also comes with software that can be customized to create a gravity micro irrigation plan. The company claims that the system can accurately predict harvest sizes up to six weeks in advance of the scheduled harvest.
The company also offers N-Drip Connect, a management tool that generates valuable insights for achieving optimal irrigation and fertilization. This tool uses real-time data from the root zone and other information sources to continuously monitor soil moisture and nitrogen levels and provide precise and dependable recommendations for irrigation and fertilization.
In March 2022, N-Drip partnered with PepsiCo to deploy N-Drip’s technology across 10,000 hectares (25,000 acres) by 2025. In June 2023, the company also partnered with RiceTec to market its systems in rice fields across the US, India, and other countries.
In June 2023, the company raised USD 44 million in a Series C funding round , led by the Liechtenstein Group, to expand its operations and global footprint.
