Fieldwork Robotics is a UK-based company that develops autonomous berry harvesting robots. In March 2024, Fieldwork Robotics has secured GBP 600,000 (~USD 761,500) government grant to increase the accuracy of its autonomous systems. Previously, In August 2023, The company raised a secured GBP 1.5 million (~USD 1.9 million) in a fundraising led by Elbow Beach Capital, with participation from existing investors including Frontier IP and a family office. The funding was raised through a Seedrs campaign and is expected to exceed GBP 2 million (~USD 2.5 million). Upon completion, the company intends to use the funds to help farms overcome labor shortages, minimize crop waste and combat food inflation with its robotic harvesting technology.
