Kering SA (KER: EPA) is a French multinational conglomerate specializing in luxury and lifestyle products. It was founded in 1962 as Pinault S.A and was listed on the Euronext Paris exchange in 1988. After a series of acquisitions, including Yves Saint Laurent, Boucheron, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, and, most notably, Gucci, it rebranded as "Kering" in 2013. In 2022, Kering reported a revenue of EUR 20.4 billion (~USD 21 billion).

Kering offers leather goods, shoes, ready-to-wear, watches and jewelry, and other products under 11 renowned luxury Houses including Gucci (~52% of total revenue in 2022), Yves Saint Laurent (~16%), Bottega Veneta (~9%), Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Brioni, Boucheron, Pomellato, DoDo, Qeelin, and Ginori 1735 Houses (19%). 

Kering Eyewear (~5% of total revenue in 2022) designs, develops, and distributes eyewear for a portfolio of 17 luxury brands, including Lindberg, Maui Jim, Gucci, Cartier, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Chloé, Alexander McQueen, Montblanc, Brioni, Dunhill, Boucheron, Pomellato, Alaïa, MCQ, and Puma.

Kering employs a workforce of 47,000+ and has 1,600+ directly operated stores worldwide (2022). Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan) was Kering’s largest market (~33% of total revenue in 2022), with Western Europe and North America tied for second, with each accounting for 27% of total revenue in 2022. The Rest of the World and Japan accounted for ~7% and ~6% of total revenue, respectively. 

Kering plans on continuing to execute its vision and strategy to maintain a profitable trajectory in the short- to medium-term. Further, it aims to reduce its absolute greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2035 (from a 2021 baseline).
