Casper Labs offers an enterprise blockchain infrastructure that facilitates the development of private, public, and hybrid solutions and applications. Casper Labs launched its mainnet in March 2021.
The company offers its solutions to companies across multiple industries. In the financial services space, the company primarily supports the management of internal operations such as cash flows and payments, along with enabling smart contracts and the tokenization of assets for derivatives. For the retail sector, Casper Labs focuses on improving customer experiences by improving trust through traceability and reduction in fraud, along with higher customer stickiness by enabling loyalty programs and personalized services. Lastly, for the government sector, Casper focuses on accelerating digitization initiatives by providing solutions for identity verification and security features, such as data protection and track-and-trace functions. Its smart contracts are designed to securely maintain historical data while also modifiable for future use to include new features or conditions, providing flexibility for enterprises to manage their tech infrastructure as business needs, regulations, and technical developments change over time.
In August 2022, less than 18 months after the mainnet launch, it recorded its one-millionth block.
