Pillar (formerly known as Athlane) offers a comprehensive creator store that allows content creators and influencers to earn money by promoting brands on social media. The platform enables creators to sell digital and physical products using its link-in-bio creator store.

The service consolidates various digital monetization tools into a single link-in-bio solution, which simplifies selling products and services directly through social media bios. Key features of the platform include a personal website builder and a progress tracker with partners and brands. The solution also includes AI-powered automations for partnership discovery, automated checkouts, and an auto-updating media kit, which it claims results in 10x deal flows. 

The platform is suited for both individual creators and teams where it allows for collaboration between multiple users on the same account and allows creators to add unlimited links to their products and unlimited products to their link-in-bio creator stores. 

Pillars’ key value proposition is that it replaces multiple common tools like LinkTree , Shopify , and Calendly, thereby streamlining the process of managing digital products, bookings, and customer interactions.

Key customers and partnerships

As of April 2024, the company had more than 75,000  creators and coaches, including influencers, fitness coaches, and professional athletes. This included prominent users who endorse Pillar like TheMcfarlands, a notable TikTok influencer, and Simon Freund, a professional tennis player. As of April 2024, the firm claimed to have attracted a billion followers and 800,000+ monthly shoppers.

In August 2020, it established a partnership with Reebok to run sponsorship campaigns targeting the esports audience.
