Linktree is a social media reference landing page (“link in bio” service) that enables users to link their content across multiple platforms to improve discoverability and drive content sales. The link leads prospective customers to a Linktree page owned by the creators, which enables them to exhibit their merchandise, embedded material from other social media platforms, and paywalled content. Linktree also allows users to receive tips directly from their audiences, and it features customizable page templates, and analytics. In July 2022 , Linktree launched a new mobile app that enables users to create Linktrees, manage links, customize the design and layout, track monetization-related metrics from their phones. The launch followed other recently released features such as Linktree Marketplace, a hub for users to browse its platform partners and integrations, and Link Apps, which enables users to embed Linktree partners’ services directly within their landing pages. Linktree operates a freemium model, with a paid plan priced at USD 6 per month and an enterprise plan with custom pricing.

In December 2023, the company acquired Koji, a link-in-bio tool and social media app provider, to expand its product offering.

Key customers and partnerships

Linktree claimed to have 1.2 billion unique visitors a month, as of July 2022. In 2021, the platform’s influencers, small businesses, and music verticals each grew by 300% YoY on average and generated 1.2 billion clicks directed to commerce-related websites.

The company announced a new feature, in May 2022, to allow creators to display their NFTs in partnership with NFT marketplace OpenSea. It also launched third-party integrations in February 2022 with Bandsintown (concert discovery platform), Community (audience engagement text messaging service), and music and audio streaming platforms SoundCloud and Audiomack . In January 2023 , Linktree introduced three monetization features for creators, including partnerships with SendOwl and Bonfire.
