Fazenda Futuro (also known as Future Farm) is a Brazilian plant-based meat and dairy startup. In July 2023 , the company launched its first dairy alternative product, Futuro Aveia—a new range of oat beverages available in one-liter packs at select retailers. The product is available in original, chocolate, and vanilla flavors and a variant specifically for cooking. Futuro Aveia claims its beverage provides a similar texture and performance to cow's milk without the overpowering taste of oats and has been developed using an improved oat variety.
Key customers and partnerships
In May 2022, Brazilian pop superstar Anitta partnered with the company with an undisclosed investment and is expected to leverage her influential social media following and brand-building knowledge to help scale up operations. As of March 2024, the company’s retail partnerships include Carrefour, Pão de Açúcar, BIG, Justo, Daki, shopper.com.br, Raizs, HortiFruti and Natural Da Terra.
Funding and financials
In October 2021, the startup raised USD 58 million Series C funding round co-led by BTG and Rage Capital. The company intended to use the funds to distribute Future Farm’s products through retailers in Europe and the US as well as develop new plant-based dairy products.
