Sweden-based Normative is a SaaS-based carbon accounting solution for businesses. Normative calculates the carbon footprint of a business up to Scope 3 emissions (emissions from assets not owned by businesses) and highlights carbon hot spots across the supply chain for businesses to take prompt action. Normative also provides sustainability reporting services. In September 2023, the company launched Engage , a suite of features that enables businesses to collect emissions data directly from their suppliers.

Funding and Financials

Normative’s most recent funding event was in July 2022 , when it raised EUR 31 million (USD 31.5 million) in a Series B funding round led by Blume Equity. In October 2021, the company raised EUR 10 million (USD 11.6 million) in a Series A funding round led by ETF Partners and 2150. Previously in September 2019, it raised USD 2.1 million in a seed round led by byFounders to accelerate growth and expand into key markets in Europe and the US.
