Groots is a Spanish hydroponic vertical farming company growing basil, Asian vegetables, lettuce, mint, coriander, and red fruits, that are supplied to fruit shops and supermarkets. As of October 2023, the company operates two production plants in Martorell and Barberà del Vallès, with plans for future expansion in the United Arab Emirates, Andorra, and other European countries.
The company claims to produce 98% less CO2, 90% less water than open field agriculture, 100% pesticide free cultivation, and year around production, and produce the same amount of produce on 300 sq m as same as 1.2 hectare traditional crop fields saving 96% of space.

Funding and financials
In September 2023, Groots secured an undisclosed investment from the Tech Transfer Agrifood FCR fund (TTAF) managed by Clave Capital for national expansion. In addition to financial support, the fund will provide guidance and access to the expertise and professional network of the fund's team.
