Germany-based HOLOGATE offers Hologate Locations, Hologate Entertainment (location-based experiences), and HGXR for XR simulations. Products under Hologate Locations products are included in HOLOGATE WORLD, the company's experience franchise, which also provides XR escape rooms and a competitive esports arena. Hologate Entertainment’s product offerings include the following:
1) HOLOGATE Arena, a turnkey VR system that offers a wide range of immersive games, accommodating up to 4 players within a compact enclosure. It includes hardware, games, advanced backend, and analytics, making it ideal for entertainment venues like family entertainment centers and cinemas.
2) HOLOGATE Blitz combines location-based VR and motion simulation, allowing players to switch between racing, flying, and underwater worlds with dragons, space battles, and futuristic sea exploration.
3) HOLOGATE X is a free-roam VR adventure platform that offers high-end VR, full-body tracking, and 4D effects. It streams VR in cinematic quality, eliminating the need for heavy backpacks. Its debut title at Hologate World is SIGVRIED: Escape from Valhalla, blending Norse mythology with sci-fi elements.
4) HOLOGATE Hypergolf provides a futuristic miniature golf experience with special effects, DJ tracks, and customizable courses. Players are assigned LED-lit balls, and automatic scoring is tracked. Hypergolf is available worldwide and is a popular attraction for entertainment venues and family entertainment centers.
HGXR is the enterprise division of HOLOGATE. HGXR’s systems enable the simulation and visualization of real-life objects or situations in a virtual space, providing technology for organizations to digitally capture a situation or critical infrastructure for review, evaluation, and training. The HGXR X system, for instance, integrates proprietary hyper-reality technology to offer a training environment for use cases including close-quarters battle training, military training, and police training, allowing for flexibility in terms of space and usability through the use of XR technology and an extensive app library.
In June 2024, the company launched wireless streaming technology for headsets used at its locations, allowing more natural interaction in VR environments.
HOLOGATE generates revenue by licensing its technology to venues, with clients on average recording 1,700 players per month, charging ~USD 6–12 per five-minute game.
