Your Fitness Dish Inc. (YoFiit)

Your Fitness Dish Inc., operating under brand name YoFiit is a Toronto-based startup producing plant-based products such as milk, nutritional bars, and granola using chickpeas, yellow peas, flax seeds, chia, goji, coconut, dark cocoa, lemon, apple, cinnamon, dates and quinoa. All YoFiit’s products are distributed in Canada via its e-commerce website and retail locations.

The company’s patent pending chickpea-based milk, miylk10’s prices start from CAD 45.95 (~USD 36.04) for a pack of 12, 1 litre cartons, translating to CAD 3.83 a litre (99% higher than homogenized, skim dairy milk)

In 2021, YoFiit partnered with Protein Industries Canada (PIC), Avena Foods Ltd and Roquette Canada to overcome technical challenges in formulating plant-based milk, probiotic-rich yogurt, and other functional plant-based analogs with the intention of strengthening Canada’s plant-based market. YoFiit will lead the development of novel food products and new food production techniques in this partnership.

In 2018, YoFiit became a finalist in PepsiCo’s first collaborative accelerator programme in North America in which ten emerging startups received USD 20,000 in grant funding and participated in a 6-month business optimization program. Furthermore YoFiit was a part of Food X’s 10th cohort.

In February 2022, Canadian plant-based food and ingredient company Global Food and Ingredients Inc. (GFI) acquired Yofiit.
