SINAI offers a SaaS platform for businesses to measure, analyze, and reduce their carbon footprint. SINAI’s solution digitizes and automates the measurement of a business’s carbon footprint, develops strategies to reduce the carbon footprint using scenario builders, and generates customized carbon targets and budgets to guide decarbonization in the long run.

SINAI caters to manufacturing, transportation, apparel and retail, food and beverage, and real estate industries. 

Key customers and partnerships 

In December 2021, SINAI partnered with BRF, Raizen, Rumo, and AMAGGI, to assess the emissions gap across the Brazilian agricultural sector. In July 2022, SINAI partnered with a Brazilian carbon credit marketplace, Future Carbon Group , to provide Brazilian companies with access to carbon intelligence tools and climate analysis expertise. In December 2022, the company partnered with NEC Corporation , a Japanese ICT solution provider, to offer decarbonization solutions to clients. SINAI’s customers include Siemens Brasil, ArcelorMittal Brasil, and Brazil’s BRK Ambiental, among others.

Funding and financials 

SINAI’s most recent funding was in September 2022, when it raised USD 22 million in a Series A funding round led by Energize Ventures. Previously in August 2021, SINAI raised $10 million in a seed funding round led by Obvious Ventures. The funds were utilized for the launch of the company’s next module, which is focused on gathering information from corporate value chains.
