May Plant-Based Meat Menu: Asia and Europe gain momentum
We tracked 27 new product and market initiatives during the month:
13 companies expanded their market presence, while another 13 focused on launching product variations. Only one company launched a new product.
A combined 69% of the expansion activity occurred in Europe and Asia, followed byNorth America.
For the second consecutive month, plant-based beef and chicken segments saw the most product launches.
Beyond Meat again led distribution expansion by gaining networks outside the US, thanks to launching its products in Tesco (UK) and KFC (China).
