March Plant-Based Meat Menu: Supersizing home markets
We tracked 23 new product and market initiatives launched this month:
Thirteen companies expanded their market presence while six launched new product variations and 3 new companies entered the industry.
Of the 13 market expansions, five companies ventured outside their home markets. Almost half of the expansion occurred within North America followed by around 31% in Asia.
Plant-based beef, chicken, and seafood segments saw equivalent product launches during the month.
Three incumbents launched plant-based beef, chicken, and seafood products in the UK, Canada, and Hong Kong.
