project44, a supply chain visibility solutions provider, has acquired Austin-based last-mile technology platform Convey for USD 255 million. This marks the company’s third acquisition this year and the largest to date.
The acquisition would help project44 to jointly provide end-to-end supply chain visibility, workflow automation, and predictive order intelligence, enhancing the last-mile direct-to-consumer delivery experience of its platform that provides information on shipments in transit, estimated times of arrival (ETAs), etc.
The acquisition will also provide project44 access to Convey’s global customer base, which includes more than 200 key brands such as The Home Depot, Neiman Marcus, and Ferguson Enterprises. Together, the companies now connect more than 880 global shippers and third-party logistic companies with a network of 113,000 carriers, 2.6 million assets, and more than 9 billion last-mile shipments.
