European esports organization Astralis has entered into a three-year partnership with the cryptocurrency exchange Bybit. The deal is considered to be the organization's largest to date. Founded in 2018, Bybit counts more than 2 million registered users globally.
As a result of the deal, Bybit’s logo is expected to be featured on the Astralis Counter-Strike roster jerseys and its digital platforms. In addition, Astralis players are expected to participate in Bybit’s upcoming gamified crypto trading competition. The partnership also entails collaboration between the brands on a series of initiatives and campaigns related to carbon neutrality, financial education, and player engagements.
Astralis competes in Counter-Strike, League of Legends, and FIFA. Along with Origen, the European esports organization competing in League of Legends, Astralis was originally owned by RFRSH Entertainment. In 2019, Astralis and Origen split and subsequently merged under the Astralis Brand in September 2020. In the aftermath of these transactions, Astralis (Counter-Strike), Origen (League of Legends), and Future FC (FIFA) operate under the Astralis umbrella
