Patch raises USD 20 million in Series A funding

Funding

  • Patch Technologies, a startup offering an API-based solution for businesses to calculate and offset their carbon footprint, raised USD 20.75 million in a Series A funding round led by Coatue Management, with the participation of existing investors Andreessen Horowitz, VersionOne (software company), and Pale Blue Dot.

  • The round brings Patch’s total funding to USD 25 million. Patch expects to use the proceeds to remove carbon at giga-ton scale. Following the round, Caryn Marooney, General Partner at Coatue, will join Patch’s board of directors.

  • Patch doubled its customer base in 2021 and is collaborating across multiple industries with high-profile customers such as Persefoni, Sendoso, Purpose Investments, Palm, and Trafi. The company has also tripled its supplier network since last year.
