Hydra Energy partners with EIA for airside hydrogen-diesel fleet

Partnerships

 • Hydra Energy, a Canadian company that develops hydrogen conversion kits for truck fleets, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Edmonton International Airport (EIA), to deliver an airside hydrogen-diesel fleet.

 • Under the agreement, Hydra Energy will convert EIA’s light-, medium-, and heavy-duty fleet vehicles and other equipment on the airside by utilizing its proprietary hydrogen-diesel co-combustion injection system. This installation will reduce carbon emissions by up to 40% per vehicle.

Analyst QuickTake: EIA isHydra Energy’s third heavy-duty fleet customer following the signing up of Veteran Express Secure Logistics (VEXSL) last week to deliver a hydrogen-converted armored vehicle. Hydra Energy delivered its first hydrogen-converted heavy-duty truck to Lodgewood Enterprises , a Canadian short- and long-haul trucking company, last October.
