Hydra Energy, a Canadian company that develops hydrogen conversion kits for truck fleets, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Edmonton International Airport (EIA), to deliver an airside hydrogen-diesel fleet.
Under the agreement, Hydra Energy will convert EIA’s light-, medium-, and heavy-duty fleet vehicles and other equipment on the airside by utilizing its proprietary hydrogen-diesel co-combustion injection system. This installation will reduce carbon emissions by up to 40% per vehicle.
