Product updates

  • OnePointOne, a vertical farming company that develops and sells aeroponic growing systems and vertically grown leafy greens and herbs, has announced international organic goods import-export company IMEX Organics as the first customer of its Opollo 3 strawberry producing vertical farms.

  • OnePointOne will initially build three farms for IMEX in Phoenix, Arizona, and has committed to building 12 more across the US, Europe, and Asia. IMEX will use the farms to supply strawberries to its customers around the world including restaurants, resorts, and retailers.

  • Opollo 3 farms are offered to commercial growers interested in producing strawberries for a USD 2 million investment. OnePointOne claims that its solution has a 150x higher yield per year compared to traditional strawberry farms, a capacity of 125,000 pounds of strawberries per year, and a two-year payback period for the investment.
