LinearB, a project management tool for software development teams, has raised USD 50 million in a Series B funding round led by Tribe Capital, with participation from Salesforce Ventures, Battery Ventures, and 83North. The round brings LinearB’s total funding to USD 71 million.
The fresh funds will be used to further develop its platform and expand its engineering team. Part of the funds will also be used to invest in the customer success, sales, and marketing teams for its go-to-market efforts.
LinearB’s customer base grew to 5,000+ development teams as of now (from ~1,500 in 2021), primarily driven by the demand for its free tool, which offers pipeline metrics to development teams.
