Robotic Research, an autonomous mobility solutions provider, has received an undisclosed amount of funds from Oshkosh Corporation, a manufacturer of specialty and access equipment. The company also announced a strategic partnership with Oshkosh.
The companies plan to work together to further develop Robotic Research’s product offerings and its path to begin production. Robotic Research believes this partnership would help demonstrate the value of its technology further, as the company expands its offerings into environmental service, construction, and emergency services markets.
The companies have had ties since 2017 when they began working for the US Department of Defense on its autonomy programs.

Analyst QuickTake: The news comes just four months after Robotic Research raised USD 228 million in a Series A funding round—its first outside capital raised since its inception in 2002.
