Bollinger Motors, a developer of Class 3–6 electric truck platforms for OEMs, has selected automotive company Roush as a contract manufacturer to assemble its truck platforms and chassis cabs for commercial vehicles.
As per the deal, Bollinger Motors will supply all required materials for Roush, upon which the platforms and chassis will be assembled at the latters’ facility in Livonia, Michigan.
The companies will work together to assemble pre-production units and conduct validation testings of the same, ahead of series production. Bollinger Motors is optimistic this partnership would help the company achieve its quality and production targets. However, neither party has yet revealed when the manufacturing would begin.
