ZeroAvia partners with Shell for hydrogen refueling

Partnerships

 • ZeroAvia, a hydrogen-based aviation solutions developer, announced a strategic collaboration with Shell.

 • The two companies will design and deploy two commercial-scale mobile refuelers for use at ZeroAvia's R&D site in Hollister, California. Shell will also supply low-carbon hydrogen to the facility and other locations across Western US.

The collaboration will support ZeroAvia’s previously announced testing of its hydrogen-electric aircraft and expects to scale up the company’s Hydrogen Airport Refueling Ecosystem (HARE).

 • Zero Avia also launched Europe's first landside-to-airside hydrogen airport pipeline. The 100-meter hydrogen pipeline operates alongside the company’s hangar at Cotswold Airport in the UK.
