Modulr, a British diversified FinTech infrastructure provider, has raised USD 108 million (GBP 83 million) in Series C funding led by General Atlantic with participation from Blenheim Chalcot, Frog Capital, Highland Europe, and PayPal Ventures. This round brings the company’s total funding to USD 182 million.
The funds will be used in expanding its geographic footprint and in product developments, including expanding the use of open banking payments and providing data insights.
The company has expanded its client base to over 200 enterprises and serves millions of customers. It also reportedly processed more than USD 100 billion in annualized transactions.
