Manna Drone Delivery partners with Samsung for deliveries in Ireland

  • Irish drone delivery company Manna Drone Delivery (Manna) has partnered with Samsung Electronics to deliver the latest Galaxy devices to customers in Oranmore, Ireland. The companies plan to eventually expand the geographical coverage nationwide.

  • Manna’s drones fly at an altitude of 50–80 meters (150-250 feet) at a speed of roughly 35 mph with reported delivery times of just three minutes after departing dispatch centers.

  • Manna provides drone delivery as a service to restaurant chains, cloud kitchens, and online food delivery platforms. The company has partnerships with online food ordering platforms such as Flipdish and Just Eat, Tesco, and Camile Thai restaurant in various drone-based delivery projects in Ireland. The company was named Startup of the Year at Ireland’s National Startup Awards in December 2020.
