JustPark partners with Visa to promote EV adoption

Partnerships

 • JustPark, a UK-based smart parking app, announced a partnership between Visa and JustCharge, the community-based electric vehicle (EV) charging service operated by JustPark, which enables EV owners to rent out their private charges to other EV drivers via an app.

 • Under the partnership, Visa customers using JustCharge will receive rewards when they pay using their debit or credit card.

 • At present, JustCharge connects six million drivers with 45,000+ EV charging points available in private driveways, parking spaces, garages, and other locations across the UK.

Analyst QuickTake: JustPark has been continuing to grow its capabilities in the EV charging space, which is increasingly becoming a staple of parking requirements in urban areas. The partnership with Visa is likely to complement JustPark’s EV reward scheme by helping to standardize contactless payments for EV services, which would help to grow its network of EV charging points and support greater EV adoption.
