FreeWire Technologies, a startup offering DC fast-charging infrastructure for EVs, has signed a letter of intent with Phillips 66, a Texas-based energy multinational, to deploy its first EV charging program in the US.
The partnership enables Phillips 66 to leverage FreeWire’s battery-integrated charging technology across its fueling stations in the US and other strategic locations.
Phillips 66 will scale up its electric fueling stations to cover its retail network of 7,000 US sites by utilizing the Phillips 66, 76, and Conoco brands.
