Quaise, a geothermal energy startup, raised an additional USD 12 million, expanding its previously announced Series A funding round from USD 40 million to USD 52 million. The round was led by TechEnergy Ventures.
The funds will be utilized to build field-deployable machinery to demonstrate Quaise’s millimeter-wave drilling technology and to enter into strategic partnerships, scaling up its operations.
New investors including HostPlus, Prelude Ventures, Safar Partners, and Xplorer Capital also participated in the round.
