DoorDash subsidiary Wolt, a Finland-based online food delivery platform has launched its new subscription program Wolt+ in Prague, Czech Republic.
Wolt+ offers free delivery to its members on orders placed from selected venues. The subscribers can choose from 1,600 restaurants such as La Taquería, Paprika, and Souvlaki Bar and 100 shops including Wolt Market. The company plans to expand the service to include more restaurants covering multiple cities in the future. The service is available for a monthly subscription of USD 4.63 (CZK 109) and claims that it will save its customers at least USD 1.23 (CZK 29) per purchase. The membership isn't limited by time and can be terminated at any time.
During the first two weeks, customers will be able to access the service for free of charge, and, as a part of the launch, Wolt+ users will have access to monthly discounted offers on orders from Wolt Market. Furthermore, subscribers with a purchase of over USD 25.46 (CZK 600) at Wolt will receive a cashback worth USD 6.37 (CZK 150) on their next Wolt Market order.
The company had 5,000 active users subscribed to the service during the test phase.
Wolt has already rolled out the Wolt+ service successfully in other European countries such as Norway and Poland.
