• Optibus, a mobility planning and management platform specializing in city-based bus travel, in collaboration with Transportes Sul do Tejo (TST), the Portugal subsidiary of Arriva Group, launched “Operations,” a real-time, cloud-native management platform specialized in bus depot operations.  

• The platform provides a unified view of driver and vehicle data to help plan and manage operations in real time. The features of the platform include driver and vehicle allocation, long-term forecasting and planning, payroll management, and real-time automatic alerts. The platform also syncs with other Optibus solutions and can be integrated with external data systems including HR, payroll, and fleet management.       

• The firm claims its platform can help mitigate challenges associated with driver staffing by providing real-time updates and automated suggestions for the best replacement driver, based on compatibility, compliance, and cost.
