THIS, a UK-based producer of alternative plant-based meats, is launching into the plant-based frozen food category with the introduction of its new range. The range includes THIS Isn’t Chicken Tenders, THIS Isn’t Pork Sausages, and THIS Isn’t Chicken Nuggets. The launch was done in a bid to attract a younger audience.

The frozen range is made using ingredients similar to the THIS chilled range, such as soy and pea proteins. The new product line comes in recyclable cardboard packaging and is available at Sainsbury stores across the UK, retailing between GBP 2.75 and GBP 3 (~USD 3.33–3.63), ~70%–105% more expensive than its meat counterparts.
