Acquia, a digital experience platform (DXP) that uses Drupal, an open-source content management system (CMS), introduced a new self-service solution for its Acquia customer data platform (CDP), allowing firms to process “right to erasure” (right to be forgotten) requests from customers.
The new feature helps firms to be in compliance with privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, enabling firms to process customer requests at scale.
The firm also recently introduced a self-serve secure credentials management solution for Acquia CDP and plans to release more self-service features in the coming months to further streamline legal and compliance workflows.

Analyst QuickTake: The new features are in line with Acquia’s shift in focus toward providing solutions geared for enterprise users. In addition, the firm is likely to leverage its recent partnership with Workato , an enterprise-level workflow automation platform that brought with it 100+ integrations, to launch new solutions to further enhance its CDP.
