Cartken, an autonomous delivery droid manufacturer, has partnered with international parcel delivery company DPD to commence droid-based deliveries for the latter’s customers in Milton Keynes, UK. This marks Cartken’s entry into the UK market.
The DPD-branded droids from Cartken will be deployed from DPD’s Knowlhill deport to deliver parcels to residents in Shenley Church End and Shenley Lodge areas in Milton Keynes.
DPD plans to extend the service across the city depending on the success of the trial.
