Pix Moving, a China and US-based developer of four-wheel self-driving chassis platforms, has received approximately USD 10 million in Series A funding from TIS, an information technology company in Japan. This brings the company’s total funds raised to around USD 30 million.
Today Pix Moving also announced a partnership with TIS to deploy its autonomous delivery vehicles (ADVs) built on its modular skateboard chassis platforms (that can be scaled to different sizes and topped with different bodies) to deliver food, groceries, and medical equipment to retirement communities in Japan.
