Black Sheep Foods, a San Francisco-based startup producing plant-based lamb by using analytical chemistry and patent-pending flavor compound, announced it will be partnering with specialty food distributor, The Chef’s Warehouse, to launch plant-based lamb at restaurants across NYC.
From next week onward, chefs and restaurants will be able to order the brand’s first-to-market product, plant-based heritage lamb via the distributor. Black Sheep claims its lamb can lead to value addition and repeat customers at restaurants.
