Amprius Technologies, a company developing silicon anodes for Li-ion batteries as an alternative to graphite anodes, has signed a component purchase agreement with Teledyne FLIR, a company developing uncrewed aerial systems (“UAS”) and integrated solutions for defense and industrial markets.
Under the three-year agreement, Amprius will provide batteries to Teledyne FLIR. The partners claim that Amprius’s silicon anode batteries will be able to double the energy with the same volumetric space.
