Deuce Drone to begin commercial operations in Mobile, Alabama

Funding

  • Deuce Drone, the last-mile drone delivery service provider, is launching a drone-based lunch delivery service for an office complex in Mobile, Alabama. This marks the company’s first phase of commercial operations.

  • For the program, the company has partnered with the BB&T Financial Centre office complex and the Legacy Village retail center, which hosts several restaurants. Up to 300 tenants in the office complex will be able to order and pay through Deuce Drone’s website daily. The orders will then be sourced from the restaurants at Legacy Village and delivered to customers by drones. The drones will carry food orders of 5 lbs.–10 lbs. in a single flight.

  • Deuce Drone provides end-to-end drone delivery infrastructure for retailers. The company has recently launched several trials with retailers in Alabama, including tenets at Foley Square Shopping Center, the Buffalo Wild Wings franchise, and Rouses Markets.
