• Piestro, a pizza-making robot developer, has partnered with Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, a fast-casual sandwich franchise, to pilot Piestro’s robot at the latter’s flagship location in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

• Capriotti’s also plans to purchase up to 100 units within five years upon the completion of the pilot.

<ul><li>Analyst QuickTake: Today’s partnership adds Capriotti's to Piestro’s growing list of customers including Canadian restaurant group Carbone Restaurant Group (CRG), international pizza brand 800 Degrees Pizza, as well as Capriotti’s-owned Wing Zone fast-casual restaurant , who the company partnered with just last month. Wing Zone also partnered with peer kitchen automation startup, Miso Robotics in May , to install the latter’s burger-making robots at upcoming Wing Zone locations.</ul>
