Flash, which provides several smart parking management software and hardware solutions for parking managers and operators, announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with private equity firm Brookfield, which included USD 40 million in funding.
The partnership is expected to expand Flash’s global presence by allowing the firm to deploy its proprietary technology across Brookfield’s real estate portfolio of office, residential, retail, and hospitality properties. Brookfield aims to utilize Flash's solutions, featuring machine-vision, real-time parking and reservation-based EV charging, mobile payment, and digital management and intelligence suite.
Analyst QuickTake: Flash intends to leverage the partnership with Brookfield to transition global real estate assets into a network of connected mobility hubs to build an integrated smart city ecosystem. At present, the company’s expertise lies in the urban mobility space across North America.
