Nova Dynamics’ Daxbot to offer droid-based food deliveries at Western Oregon University

Partnerships

 • Daxbot, Nova Dynamics’ last-mile delivery droid unit, has partnered with Western Oregon University to launch a droid-based food delivery service at the campus, starting later this year.

 • This marks the company’s first university deployment. The company plans to expand the service to include more universities, businesses, and retirement communities in the future.

Analyst QuickTake: Tapping university campuses for deliveries has been a key strategy among several last mile delivery droid developers including Starship Technologies, Kiwibot , and Cartken. In fact, Starship droids serve around 25 universities today, while Kiwibots move around at 10+ such locations, with plans to add 50 more throughout the year. Meanwhile, Cartken partnered with GrubHub just last month to deploy droids at Grubhub-served universities in the US.
