CaptivateIQ, a no-code platform to automate sales commissions, raised USD 46 million in a Series B funding round led by Accel with participation from Sequoia, Y Combinator, Amity, and S28. This round brings the company’s total funds raised to USD 63 million.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its reach and workforce and develop AI technologies that benefit sales-related business functions, such as sales planning.
CaptivateIQ has yet to turn profitable, although its revenue grew sixfold YoY in 2020, and its platform has processed more than USD 2 billion in commissions to date.
CaptivateIQ offers a no-code platform for enterprises to build, preview, and launch customized sales commission plans. The platform collates data from multiple sources, such as invoices and billing systems, and offers real-time analytics for employee commissions management. Any enterprise can use the platform regardless of size and industry; however, it is most commonly used by organizations with more than 25 sales personnel for companies in the finance, manufacturing, and business services industries.
