Wallbox, an NYSE-listed Spanish EV charging infrastructure manufacturer, reported revenue of EUR 39.5 million (~USD 41 million) for Q2 2022, up by 124% YoY. This was driven by ~64,000 new charger sales during the quarter, an increase of more than 95% YoY. The company’s gross margin was 41.1% for the quarter.
<ul><li>Wallbox revised its full-year 2022 revenue guidance announced in Q1 to EUR 175 million–195 million (USD 180 million–201 million), a 145%–170% YoY increase.</ul>
Key operational highlights in Q1 2022
<ul><li>Wallbox partnered with Nissan to provide Pulsar Plus home EV chargers, the company’s flagship product, to Nissan EV owners in the US from July 2022 onwards.</ul>
The company acquired COIL, an EV charging installer, to provide in-house installation and maintenance services for commercial, public, and residential charging applications.
Wallbox also acquired ARES Electronics, a provider of printed circuit boards, to expand Wallbox’s design and manufacturing capabilities.
