Coco Robotics partners with Bayside Hotel to provide robot room services

Product updates

  • Coco Robotics, a remote-controlled last-mile food delivery droid developer, has partnered with Bayside Hotel, a Southern California coastal hotel owned by the Edward Thomas Collection of Hotels. The collaboration aims to provide an on-demand robot delivery service to its guests by sourcing products from local partners.

  • The guests will have access to items, including food and beverages, sundries, personal care products, and pet food, through the Coco app. The company claims products can be delivered within 30 minutes and charges a USD 1.95 delivery fee upon order.

  • Coco’s robot delivery platform is offered to independent hosts responsible for managing their own fulfillment centers and a small fleet of robots controlled within a one-mile radius of the restaurant. Coco will provide the software and hardware required to set up operations for free. The company began trial operations in Santa Monica in August 2020 and expanded to include San Pedro, Los Angeles, in February this year.
