Allied Esports reported a net loss per share of USD 0.09 in Q2 2022, compared with a loss of USD 0.11 in Q2 2021. Total revenue increased 40% YoY to USD 1.2 million in Q2 2022 from USD 0.8 million in Q2 2021.
In-person revenue accounted for the bulk (~98%) of total revenue and grew 68% YoY to USD 1.1 million from 0.7 million in Q2 2021. Event revenue contributed ~60% to in-person revenue and more than doubled to USD 0.7 million as footfall at the company’s esports properties continued to rebound from pandemic lows.
Adjusted EBITDA losses also improved ~10% YoY to USD 2.7 million in Q2 2022, compared with a loss of USD 3.0 million in Q2 2021.
