Bollinger Motors unveils Bollinger B4, a Class 4 all-electric fleet truck

Product updates

  • Bollinger Motors, a developer of Class 3–6 electric truck platforms for OEMs, has revealed its Class 4 electric fleet truck, the “Bollinger B4” cab chassis with a cab-forward design and improved safety, cargo, and turn circle capabilities.

  • Bollinger B4 is equipped with a solid rear-axle e-drive to carry higher payloads and can be fitted with either one or two battery packs, depending on the customers’ needs for cost and range requirements. The price of the unit is not yet revealed.

  • The consumers are also eligible for a 30% tax credit of up to USD 40,000 under the new 45 W commercial EV tax credit incentive.

  • The company plans to test the chassis cab with fleet customers, uplifters, and charging companies in the coming months. Bollinger also noted its plans to begin trials and production of Class 5 and 6 trucks after the release of the B4 model.
