Apricity raises EUR 17 million in Series B funding

Funding

 • Apricity, a UK-based virtual fertility clinic, has raised EUR 17 million (~USD 16.9 million) in a Series B funding round led by MTIP with participation from Iris Ventures. Apricity’s total funding following this round stands at EUR 23 million (~USD 22.9 million).

 • The funds will be utilized to further develop its technology, launch at-home ultrasound scan services in select areas, accelerate growth in the UK, and expand to additional countries such as Spain (by the end of 2022), Germany, and Italy.

 • Apricity reported that its revenue and customer growth more than doubled over 2021. The company has a current employee headcount of 50 and plans to double it by 2023. The company’s notable customers include tech giants, employee benefit providers, and banks such as AXA and Reward Gateway. Apricity’s B2B segment accounts for more than a third of its current revenue.

Analyst QuickTake: The funding comes on the heels of the company’s acquisition of the Spain-based period and fertility monitoring and tracking app, Woom in May this year. The acquisition helped Apricity to accelerate its international expansion beyond France and the UK and increase its lead generation, user engagement, and AI optimization capabilities.
