CoGo and Xero partner to launch new app to track carbon footprint

Partnerships

  • CoGo, a carbon tracking and offsetting mobile app, partnered with Xero, an accounting platform for small businesses, to launch the CoGo Business Carbon Manager app in the Australian Xero App Store.

  • The new app allows Xero’s customers to understand, measure, and reduce their carbon footprint. The app also provides categorized transactional data, including spending on electricity and fuel, assigning a carbon footprint to each transaction. Customers will also have access to obtain tailored and customized advice on lowering business’ carbon emissions. The app is free and paid features are expected to be launched by the end of this year.

  • Additionally, CoGo and Xero will also collaborate to develop educational content and resources for small businesses, on sustainability related topics. This content will be available on Xero’s Small Business Sustainability Hub via the Xero App Store for Xero’s customers in Australia. CoGo plans to work on rolling out the app across other regions in the upcoming months.
