Function of Beauty partners with Shoppers Drug Mart to expand operations in Canada

Partnerships

  • Function of Beauty, a developer of customized hair, skin, and body care products, partnered with Canadian retailer Shoppers Drug mart to launch its personalized hair care products in Canada. 

  • Function of Beauty will offer 18 different products designed for different hair types, such as straight, wavy, and curly, along with ten hair shot boosters that will allow customers to create different formulas at home.  

  • The products will be available in 1,000+ Shoppers Drug Mart locations as well as online. 

  • Analyst QuickTake: D2C beauty brands are now seen moving towards physical sales channels to expand their market presence. The company was shipping its products directly to Canada however, with this, customers will now be able to physically experience the product before buying. Previously the company launched its products at Target stores in the US to provide a better experience to its customers.
