Product updates

  • Bollinger Motors, an electric truck-making subsidiary of Net Element-owned Mullen Automotive, partnered with Wabash, a truck body and trailer manufacturer, to develop a refrigerated truck body on electric chassis.

  • The product offering will include lightweight composite technology, an all-electric chassis cab, higher payload capacity due to lower truck weight, and improved thermal efficiency.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Today’s partnership comes just two weeks after the acquisition of Bollinger Motors by Mullen Automotive, a California-based automotive and electric vehicle manufacturer and a subsidiary of financial technology group Net Element. On a separate note, Bollinger Motor’s peer company Xos also has a May-2022 partnership with Thermo King, a manufacturer of transport temperature control systems for vehicles, to jointly develop a battery-electric refrigerated commercial vehicle prototype.
